Hi, I’m Sonia, 33-year-old entrepreneur and writer from the coastal city of Vizag, India. A Chemical Engineer and MBA graduate, I’m currently pursuing a certification course in Nutrition and Health Education from IGNOU, India.
I realized early on during my fat-loss journey that fitness is not to be imposed on one’s self, and that being fit is an attitude, and it is the fine-tuning of our lifestyle choices that leads us there.
This blog relates my clean-eating habits and exercise regimes that I undertake to finally cut my body-fat percentage, increase lean muscle mass, and go about inducing a positive change in my outlook towards myself and my fitness choices.
It is also about those specific lifestyle choices – eating right and exercising regularly – in a way that does not make them boring and difficult. Losing unwanted flab and being fit can be easy and enjoyable too, given you approach it the right way!
However, some of us face a greater challenge – we do not like to eat the same thing over and over and we do not “like” exercise. My blog is about making small conscious decisions about your food ingredients and intake, and finding the right exercise for yourself, whether it’s running, aerobics, Zumba, or strength-training at the gym.
Eat sensibly and sweat regularly to wave those extra kilos off your body! If I could do it, you can too! Happy reading!
